'Hih' featuring Monica Vasconcelos
Debut gig in the UK for Monica Vasconcelos's new venture 'Hih', featuring Steve Lodder (piano and keys), Dudley Phillips (double and electric bass) and Ralph Salmins (drums). The group played in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in September last year.

This is the first time Monica has worked without a guitarist in a line-up that was very characteristic in Brazilian popular music in the 70s. As always, Monica will be performing original compositions and versions of Brazilian classics.

Also for the first time she will performing two new songs written in collaboration with Robert Wyatt – who is a guest on the forthcoming album.
